Prannie Rhatigan’s Seaweed Kitchen featured in Einfach Sein Magazine
Prannie Rhatigan harvests & cooks with sea vegetables a.k.a seaweeds. While photographing her for Einfach Magazine, I got the pleasure of visiting her “pantry” at the shore’s edge to gather different types of seaweeds and then her home to sample some of her delicious recipes.
I was shooting for Einfach Sein Magazine, based in Germany and showcasing sustainable, organic & healthy living. I only have about 3 words of German so I don’t understand most of this article but I can tell you that Prannie’s food is delicious and as you are gorging you get to feel smug that you are getting healthier by the bite.
Dr. Jessica Adolf came to Ireland to interview Prannie about sustainably harvesting seaweeds and ways to use them in your cooking. The images captured show the process of harvesting, drying and integrating sea vegetables into your lifestyle & kitchen.
